![]() ![]() ![]() I don't know how you attempted to do the upgrade, but this procedure definitely works: Makes me appreciate my rock solid x10 device network! LOLI had none of the problems you described. Still fighting issues with dashboards, z-tools+ from this fiasco. Wish their was a procedure of steps to take on troubleshooting a zwave network failure somewhere.Īs far as this upgrade to the stick firmware, I would not recommend it to anybody with a large zwave network without better documentation on the exact steps to take if they encounter a problem after the update. Restored HS4 from a backup file, restored smartstick+ from backup, rebooted HS4 machine, ran zwave diagnostics, removed/readded zwave devices, stopped and restarted zwave plugin and finally unplugged zwave smartstick+. Don't know what fixed it as while waiting for tech support I did everything I could think of. Where do I start to get this back up and running? Off topic, but is there a way to simply disable power monitoring or at least kill its reporting? I really don't care about that feature. But, the multiple device event still makes a mess. The new firmware seems to have lessened the symptom, especially when running individual device rescans or optimizations (those sometimes hung). I assumed the Zooz switches were the culprits, but your comment about power monitoring confirms it these are the first devices I've used with power monitoring. The system now exhibits multiple errors when turning off a batch of various Z-Wave devices, mostly lights, (via an event). ![]() My system was running fine overall until a few weeks ago, when I added a couple of new 700-series on/off plugs from Zooz. Running a rescan, test connectivity, optimize, full optimize and audit on some nodes works fine. That said, the "Node information" page responds very quickly and has no errors. I have been very hesitant to upgrade to it, and I am still running version 3.0.11.0. I think you're referring to the version 4 plugin. Please post your experience with using this update. GBL file in that zip and use this 7.18.1 GBL file when you select the update file: Updating SmartStick+ Firmware - Products () If you have never updated your SmartStick+ G3, you will need to download the full update zip here: Most the release notes contains very technical information but there are some notable fixes such as a fix to the command that removes a bad node.
